An exciting role for an enthusiastic and driven early-mid career Project / Facilities Manager has arisen within the MBDA Facilities department to support the delivery of their major Bristol Site re-development programme on a 2 year fixed term contract. This will give the successful candidate the opportunity to further develop their project management skills in a construction environment. Whilst project management experience in a facilities-construction environment would be beneficial it is not essential, on the job training can be provided for the right candidate.
Salary: Circa £42,500 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: Typically 4 days a week with the ability to work remotely when appropriate.
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity: You will be part of a small dynamic team of Project Managers and this role will provide project management and hands-on support for the delivery of the major programmes of works and coordination of the day to day management of contractors and Bristol site. This is a critical role to ensure the site operates well throughout this exciting period and working as part of a team supporting the successful delivery of building refurbishments and new builds the site masterplan.
Experience in a construction-facilities management environment isn't mandatory, we welcome applications from early-mid career candidates that are keen to learn new skills and develop their project management experience in a Facilities Management/ Construction.

- The successful candidate will be a team player with a pro-active hands on attitude to respond to issues and identify resolutions.
- Good analytical skills and experience in budgeting and cost reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written presentation skills and be able to influence stakeholders and customers accordingly.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively with good people management skills and able to foster strong relationships with stakeholders, providing regular project updates.
