Various opportunities have arisen for Project Managers and Senior Project Manager across a number of our programmes at different levels, to define, plan and deliver medium to large size contracts/programmes.

Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2-3 days per week on-site due to workload classification.

Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:

The Federated Centres of Excellence (CofEx) bring together specialist UK and French teams supporting a broad and strategically important portfolio of MBDA programmes. The Federated CofEx include: Algorithms, Complex Warheads, Navigation Sensors and Software. The Business & Project Management (BPM) team within the UK Federated CofEx is a fast growing and commercially important team, providing project management and delivery support to Heads of CofEx, Sector Leads and Work Package Managers across this domain.

We are looking for enthusiastic, determined and resilient Project Managers to join the team and help drive "On Time, On Cost, On Quality" delivery across a diverse portfolio of projects. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills, broaden your exposure across multiple domains, and genuinely play a key role in shaping the success of an increasingly significant function within the business.

What we're looking for from you:

  • Project / Programme Management experience
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
  • Experience of leading projects, including cost control, schedule adherence and risk management
  • Bidding, tendering and estimating experience
  • Sound business judgement, with the ability to understand complex problems and develop effective solutions
  • Knowledge of MBDA PM methodology and a drive to embed formal processes and good practice
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary and multi-national teams
  • Confidence to embrace new challenges and operate effectively in areas of ambiguity
  • Strong motivational skills and the ability to support and guide others
