MBDA is seeking a highly motivated Engineering Training Instructor with specialist skills to work on MBDA’s Complex Weapons domain missiles and missile systems products at an overseas location.

Security Clearance
British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Security Clearance required. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS).

Salary & Benefits
Salary: £40,000 – £49,000, dependent on experience.
Company bonus up to £2,500 (based on performance).
Pension up to 14% (employer + employee).
Paid overtime.
International assignment package including up to 15 days flexi leave.
Parental leave up to 26 weeks for maternity, adoption and shared parental leave.
Enhancements for paternity leave, neonatal leave and fertility testing and treatments.

Location & Deployment
The role is based in Poland with a minimum of 3 years overseas deployment. A hybrid working pattern is considered where possible.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the training delivery of an MBDA Complex System GBAD product to an Export Customer.
  • Work as part of an MBDA Training Team delivering in‑country Operator and Maintainer Training.
  • Conduct Training Needs Analysis, produce reports and assist in preparation of Course Training Plans, Lesson Plans and Training Material.
  • Lead both theoretical and practical Product Training and Technical Field Support at the Customer’s location.
  • Assist the Training Team in production of Project Timeline Plans, Course Training Plans, Training Material and Development Reports.
  • Support product training delivery on other systems if required.
  • Maintain high‑standard personal and technical reports, records of all Training and Field Support activities.
  • Engage with product suppliers regarding training technologies or equipment development.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Substantial experience in engineering or an engineering related subject.
  • Degree level in engineering or related subject desirable but not essential.
  • A Defence Instructor Qualification or civilian equivalent is desirable.
  • Experience working within a Training Team environment.
  • Experience in Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and preparation of training documents.
  • Ability to interpret TNA studies and produce reports for customers.
  • Knowledge of engineering training processes within a Military structure is a bonus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for customer and industrial partner interaction.
  • Resilience, good communication and a calm professional manner.

Additional Information
Polish speaking is not mandatory but encouraged for UK nationals and Dual UK-Polish nationals.
Relocation package may be offered.
