Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2 days per week on-site, maybe more due to workload classification.

The opportunity:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a definition draughtsperson/CAD Modeller with drive and enthusiasm to join Europe's number one missile system provider, developing solutions for complex weapons and weapon systems. Be involved in the creation of definitions for the next generation of missiles working with skilled engineers. Maximising the use of 3D CAD capabilities including improving the efficiency and effectiveness in the creation of robust parametric models.
What we're looking for from you:
High performing teams need high performing and competent individuals. To be suitable for this role, candidates will be able to demonstrate a number of the following attributes:
- Ideally HND/HNC qualified with significant experience in mechanical design definition.
- Ability to translate design intent from 3D models into high quality 2D/3D definitions (preferably CREO).
- Strong background in the production of engineering drawings with high attention to detail.
- Must have a good amount of 3D modelling experience and be able to assess 3D models for their quality. Experience in 3D annotations would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of BS8888 Technical product documentation and specification, ISO 1101 Geometrical product specifications, ISO 5459 Datum and datum systems and similar standards and GD & T.
- Great communication skills with the drive and initiative to influence across a network of both domestic and international colleagues.
