Salary: Circa £65,000 depending on experience.
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 4-5 days per week on-site due to workload classification.

After offer, successful candidates will undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS) managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe operation of EE&F test equipment within world-class laboratories at Stevenage and Henlow.
- Work alongside Facilities Management (FM) to maintain building infrastructure and lab facilities, including management of external contractors and servicing.
- Lead a team (typically 7-8 engineers), managing resources, risks and budgets.
- Gain experience working alongside a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive process improvements and support the Head of M&C Test in developing capabilities.
- Support the Health & Safety Manager / Quality Lead to ensure process and equipment compliance.
Qualifications
Essential
- Strong technical background in maintenance of test equipment and facilities.
- Experience of maintenance and service contracts.
- Effective planning and project management.
- Effective leadership skills (interpersonal and influencing).
- Ability to develop and manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Understanding of wider project and company strategy.
Desirable
- Knowledgeable of the test methods used to perform environmental tests (vibration, shock, thermal, humidity, low pressure etc.).
- Experience of supporting capex process.
- Experience with calibration processes.
- Health & Safety background.
