A fantastic opportunity within the UK Export Contract Management Team for a motivated, experienced and driven contract manager who will lead and deliver a portfolio of UK export contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the contract and commercial day-to-day interactions with international customers.
  • Manage communications with MBDA and external industrial partners.
  • Proactively anticipate and resolve issues and concerns to fulfil contractual commitments and obtain customer acceptance and payment.
  • Ensure export contract schedule adherence and mitigate risks.
  • Support Sales & Business Development in acquiring new business.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience as a Contract Manager, having led contract delivery in both bid and execution phases with an international client base.
  • High degree of self‑motivation and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills with a confident leadership style.
  • Experience in people management and leading internal/external stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience preparing and authorising bid submissions; exposure as Business Bid Authority is an advantage.
  • Proven interface with corporate functions: finance, customer support, export control, project management, quality, shipping, engineering.
  • Willingness to undertake international travel and engage with diverse cultures.
