MBDA Facilities Management is searching for a dynamic safety professional to support the delivery of construction and facilities projects across the UK estate. The role is based mainly in Stevenage with regular travel to Bristol, Bolton and other UK sites. Salary is circa £52,000, plus bonus and benefits, for a fixed‑term contract of 2 years.

Security clearance required: British Citizen. All successful candidates must undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS) post‑offer.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead implementation of CDM 2015 Regulations across the portfolio.
  • Assist in delivering the Principal Designer role for small works.
  • Support Contractor Compliance and CDM Manager to provide competent advice to the FM team and wider business.
  • Collect and report statistical information on contractor activity.
  • Investigate accidents/incidents and undertake inspections on CDM sites.
  • Travel across the UK to support the FM team, internal and external audits and maintenance service providers.
  • Develop and improve safety procedures and working practices.
  • Participate in safety team development within the FM Department.

Qualifications:

  • NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Diploma (Level 6 preferred).
  • Membership of IOSH with CPD in place.
  • Knowledge of the Principal Designer role (IMaPS/CMaPS beneficial).
