We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and passionate C# software developer to join our Weapons System Simulation and Experimentation (WSSE) team!
Dynamic hybrid working – 2–3 days per week on-site due to workload classification.
Security clearance: British Citizen; candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS) managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain visualisation and demonstration components for weapon systems.
- Lead experimentation design and development efforts.
- Conduct verification and validation of simulation models.
- Develop training systems.
- Apply agile scrum methodologies to develop real‑time software components for simulating weapon systems.
- Integrate hardware into software components to provide true representations of weapon systems.
Qualifications
- Passionate software developer with experience building hardware solutions or synthetic environments.
- Proficient in C# and/or C++ software development.
- Experience with real‑time software.
- Knowledge of configuration control.
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery or Deployment.
- Experience in unit testing and test‑driven development.
- Experience in agile development.
