About the Role
Business Support Officer (BSO) within the Programmes Export Operations team – provides administrative and operational support to senior management and training teams. The role requires a proactive, accurate, and comprehensive approach to assist in daily management tasks.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex diaries, extensive travel arrangements and expenses
- Organise meetings, events, workshops, training days and take and manage actions
- Create and maintain MS Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, MS OneNote and MS Word documents accurately
- Coordinate with internal and external customers and stakeholders
- Assist and support new starters within the team
- Raise purchase requisitions and process invoices using MBDA online tools
- Understand and utilise MBDA systems, tools and policies
- Support wider UKSF activities such as participation and contribution to working groups
- Perform varied and ad-hoc tasks as required
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar Business / Admin Support role, managing complex diaries, organising meetings, events and travel arrangements
- High level of resilience, communication, organisational skills and attention to detail
- Forward thinking with a focus on improving efficiencies in working practices and processes
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Applications (PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, OneNote)
- Ability to prioritise, multi-task and manage workload effectively
- Enthusiastic team player demonstrating integrity and maintaining confidentiality
- Willingness to learn and extend the role beyond the job description
- Desire to develop into a knowledge point of contact within the team
- Confidence in building effective working relationships at all levels
