Software Engineering Technical Team Lead

Salary: Circa £55,000 to £67,000 depending on experience Dynamic (hybrid) working: Typically 4 days per week on-site, due to workload classification Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

What we're looking for from you:

Experience with C or C++ is essential, along with a solid background in software engineering. A passion for software engineering, with the ability to innovate and think critically to solve complex software problems with a willingness to develop software skillsets either through on the job, or formal training. Comfortable working with a team in a collaborative environment, communicating and contributing to resolve emerging issues. Team leading experience would be beneficial, as this role involves a blend of both engineering and leading engineers to deliver to projects. Working closely with our Software Project Leader to build alignment across our programmes and products. Experience in the development of software for Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) hardware and be comfortable working with target system hardware. Ada, and/or JavaScript would be beneficial, but not essential
