An opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to define, plan and deliver medium to large size contracts on an exciting programme.

Employment Details

  • Salary: Circa £40,000 depending on experience
  • Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2‑3 days per week on‑site due to workload classification
  • Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship; restrictions relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply
  • All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS) after offer, managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team

With the recent growth across our Project Management function, we have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Project Manager to join our team, where you will have an opportunity to grow your skills and develop your career within a collaborative and encouraging environment.

  • Work on a complex, changing environment, contributing to delivering capability to our customers
  • Embed partner/stakeholder management skills across a diverse multi‑functional, international organisation
  • Gain exposure to a vibrant Project Management community

  • High level of integration between functional directorates and customers within the UK and potentially with our European counterparts in the future

Qualifications

  • Project / Programme Management experience
  • Passionate about driving delivery and working closely with our Engineering team to manage a package(s) of work
  • Risk management skills and experience
  • Applying effective Project Management processes and reporting to facilitate achievement of the programme schedule and budget
  • Ability to address and identify complex problems and how to solve them
  • Strong communication and motivational skills
  • Ability to embrace new challenges and deal with a level of ambiguity
  • Negotiating and influencing skills, with the ability to establish and maintain relationships and work collaboratively across various levels and with internal and external collaborators
  • Drive and motivation in leading projects to strive for excellence in the face of adversity
