This position will be responsible for providing the Manufacturing Engineering focus within the Industrial Transfer Team representing the department at various forums to engage with key stakeholders and promote the department.
Salary: Circa £47,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 4-5 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:
An exciting new opportunity has become available within the Industrial Transfer Team for a Principal Manufacturing Engineer to join the team. The opportunity also allows an individual to grow their knowledge within manufacturing as part of development into potential future opportunities. This role will give an individual exposure to the front end aspects of the business from initial bids through to delivery and also be both internally and externally focused. The tasks will be both tactical and strategic providing stretched objectives for personal growth and appreciation of the wider business.

- Represent the department at various forums to engage with key stakeholders
- Promote the department and its capabilities
What we're looking for from you:
- Formal technical Engineering/Craft Apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21
- Formal further education certificate to HNC or equivalent in a relevant subject OR BEng in relevant Engineering Degree
- Able to work with minimum supervision
- Be highly motivated and enthusiastic, to create/maintain a high performing team
