Salary: Circa £65,000 depending on experience.

Dynamic (hybrid) working: 3 days per week on-site.

Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS) after the offer stage, managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead MBDA support to the customer and industry partners in generation of system level requirements and verification plans.
  • Conduct system of systems related design studies and generate interface definitions.
  • Manage and deliver System of Systems task packages on time, on cost, and on quality, including progress and budgetary reporting.
  • Manage the System of Systems team comprising of engineers based across Europe and the United States.
  • Technical engagement with the customer and industry partners, including management of technical points of contact and of regular working groups chaired by members of the System of Systems team.
  • Travel overseas (expected once per month) to support engagement with the customer and industry partners.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in developing and integrating complex systems, preferably in the defence industry.
  • Strong systems thinking skills with the ability to initiate and drive trade studies.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to a variety of stakeholders (internally and externally).
  • Experience developing requirement sets and agreeing these collaboratively with different stakeholder groups, including System Design Authorities and Government organisations.
  • Experience managing people and supporting their development.
  • Experience in work package management.
