MBDA’s Land Ceptor Systems Engineering team is expanding to support new contracts for the British and Polish Armies. The role is based in a hybrid working model (3 days on site each week).
Salary & Working Conditions
- Salary: up to £57,000, dependant on experience.
- Security clearance required: British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship.
- Company bonus up to £2,500 (variable annual performance)

Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the requirements team, taking customer requirements and deriving suitable system, subsystem and software requirements, supporting system design studies.
- Assist the certification team in capturing and reviewing evidence, conducting technical investigations, and achieving Certificate of Design delivery.
- Collaborate with the Poland programme lead to organise bids, manage procurement, and support programme delivery activities, including stakeholder engagement.
- Support overall Poland programme delivery within the functional area.
Required Qualifications
- General systems engineering experience, preferably in a defence context.
- Proven experience in requirements management and derivation.
- Familiarity with systems engineering tools such as DOORS/DOORS NG or Rhapsody.
- Skill in disseminating technical information to customers in an understandable manner.
- Experience with engineering change control and management.
- Ability to initiate and drive trade studies and system development activities.
- Experience developing complex systems.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and excellent communication at all levels.
- Experience with product lines is beneficial.
