Overview
With recent growth across our Project Management and Project Control functions, we have an opportunity for an individual to join our team and develop a career in a collaborative environment. The role is based within the manufacturing domain, ensuring our products are built to schedule, cost and scope. Salary: Circa £40,000 depending on experience. Working environment: hybrid, 2‑3 days per week onsite.
Responsibilities
- Promote good project management practices and processes across the Manufacturing community.
- Engage in effective stakeholder management, interfacing with a range of stakeholders from various functions.
- Manage risk and opportunities, proactively addressing R&O and identifying spend‑to‑save opportunities.
- Validate cost control methods by comparing actuals and forecasts, identifying variances to budget and supporting mitigation or corrective action.
- Assess schedules/forecasts across a variety of business disciplines.
- Support integrated baseline management to ensure on‑time and on‑cost delivery in accordance with planning principles and governance.
- Create project reports and deliver presentations to a range of stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement by embracing change and proposing better ways of working.
Qualifications
- Desireable experience in Project Management or Project Control.
- Open to change and comfortable with ambiguity.
- Understanding of cost and resource‑loaded schedules.
- Proficient with schedule and cost data, able to critically analyse and make informed recommendations.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage conflicting demands.
- Strong communication skills, capable of creating and presenting complex datasets and topics.
- A hands‑on approach, willing to provide support to the Project Manager and manage smaller tasks independently.
