We work on technology that is at the forefront of European missile system design, delivering safe, secure, and reliable products to our customers. We are looking for a capable, adaptable and inquisitive Software Engineering Technical Lead who can lead a small support team (five) to develop and maintain our in-service missile-system middleware solutions. What we're looking for from you:
- Experience with C or C++ is essential, along with a solid background in software engineering.
- A passion for software engineering, with the ability to innovate and think critically to solve complex software problems with a willingness to develop software skillsets either through on the job, or formal training.
- Comfortable working with a team in a collaborative environment, communicating and contributing to resolve emerging issues.
- Team leading experience would be beneficial, as this role involves a blend of both engineering and leading engineers to deliver to projects.
- Working closely with our Software Project Leader to build alignment across our programmes and products.
- Experience in the development of software for Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) hardware and be comfortable working with target system hardware.
