An exciting opportunity for a passionate HPC Architect to join a unique, multinational Information Management function. Ideal candidates are committed to software‑defined data centres and open‑source technologies and will support our engineering community in a dynamic, fast‑paced development environment.
Salary: Up to ÂŁ75,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2‑3 days per week on‑site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: DV clearance required. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS) after the offer stage, managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

We are seeking a forward‑thinking HPC Architect with expertise in storage and infrastructure to define the long‑term future roadmap of HPC environments within MBDA. You will ensure alignment with business objectives in collaboration with our business areas. As an HPC Architect you will be responsible for building scalable and high‑throughput infrastructure, managing and maintaining HPC environments including compute nodes, storage and interconnects. The role involves close collaboration within your team and wider stakeholders across the organisation, and engagement with multinational, multi‑cultural teams to drive capability development cross‑functionally.
