Role Summary: Business Support Officer in Programmes Export Operations team, responsible for administrative and operational support to senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide proactive and accurate administrative support to senior management and training team
- Manage complex diaries, extensive travel arrangements and expenses
- Organise meetings, events, workshops, training days and manage actions from meetings
- Create and maintain accurate MS Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, OneNote and Word documents
- Coordinate with internal and external customers and stakeholders
- Assist new starters within the team
- Raise purchase requisitions and process invoices using MBDA online tools
- Understand and utilise MBDA systems, tools and policies
- Support broader UKSF activities, including participation in working groups
- Handle varied and ad‑hoc tasks as required
Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar Business/Admin Support role, managing diaries, meetings, events and travel
- High resilience, communication, organisational skills and attention to detail
- Forward‑thinking and proactive in improving efficiencies
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office applications including PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, OneNote
- Ability to prioritise, multi‑task and manage workload effectively
- Enthusiastic team player with integrity, confidentiality and strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn and extend beyond the job description
- Develop into a knowledge point of contact within the team
- Confidence in building effective working relationships at all levels
