Your role within a multi-discipline organisation will:
Responsibilities
- Manage the derivation of the technical requirements for your equipment and the integration strategy with peer systems including project lifecycle management and acceptance of the identified deliverables;
- Manage the technical interface with the equipment Design Authority, internal or external, including cost considerations and route to sustained manufacture;
- Contribute to key activities in the engineering development lifecycle such as trade studies and design reviews;
- Manage the challenges of implementing developed items, ensuring effective consideration of modularity and re-use in the current and future acquisition processes;
- Lead a focused team to deliver the activities above, subject to the size and complexity of the task.
