Job Summary
There is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic, diverse and forward‑thinking team within the Security Services sector responsible for the effective provision of classified document control.
The role requires a strong focus on secure service, compliance with standards and processes within HMG Governance and procedural guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Provide advice and support on current company and Government guidelines regarding all aspects of classified documentation security, control and management.
- Process internal and external movements of classified material within the UK and overseas in accordance with HMG regulations.
- Support the business to meet key deadlines such as bid deliveries and payment milestones.
- Maintain accurate records of documentation using the Security Information Management System.
- Conduct essential document mustering activities including spot checks and investigations.
- Maintain accurate statistics.
- Provide support to the Programme Support Office Manager and other security activities as required.
- Travel to other sites as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience, skills and/or qualifications for working within a UK Defence/Government setting preferred; training will be provided.
- Knowledge/understanding of Mo D and company rules for processing and handling of classified documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail, able to work well under pressure, strong competence in MS Office and experience in using databases.
- Ability to meet deadlines without compromising on quality and always following process.
- Passionate about high‑quality customer service, communicate clearly, concisely and effectively.
- Team player who is resilient and adaptable to change, able to use initiative.
Salary and Benefits
- Salary: Circa £32,000 depending on experience.
- Eligible for company bonus up to £2,500 (based on performance).
- Pension – maximum total contribution up to 14%.
- Opportunity for paid overtime.
- Dynamic working – full‑time office based role; flexible hours and optional travel.
- Security clearance – British Citizen, must pass HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks.
