As a trusted partner to the UK Ministry of Defence, our client is seeking a Manufacturing Logistics Services Analyst to support a major, group wide Digital Transformation programme. This role sits at the heart of the IMPACT initiative, modernising how manufacturing and logistics services operate across the organisation. The programme focuses on upgrading SAP ERP from ECC6 to S/4HANA, driving process alignment, standardisation, and improved ways of working across the group.
Responsibilities
- Supported the Logistics Services SME across all preparation activities for the S/4HANA ERP upgrade.
- Documented current state (AS IS) manufacturing logistics processes and contributed to future state (TO BE) process design.
- Completed gap analysis between existing processes and S/4HANA requirements.
- Led master data cleansing activities, including correcting incomplete records, removing duplicates, and validating storage locations and bins.
- Resolved transactional data issues, aligning system stock with physical inventory and closing obsolete or incorrect records.
- Supported data mapping and transformation activities, including migration mapping documentation and identification of new mandatory S/4HANA fields.
- Assisted in defining data migration inclusion and exclusion rules for logistics services objects.
- Supported warehouse organisational structure definitions and physical labelling and identification activities.
- Coordinated and tracked progress of stock inventory checks across North and South locations.
- Supported testing preparation and execution, ensuring test scripts and data readiness, and contributed to risk, issue, and dependency identification.
