Our Bristol-based Software Quality Assurance team is dedicated to ensuring quality and making an impact in the defense sector.
Responsibilities- Maintain software quality by following procedures and guidelines
- Collaborate with the wider QA community at MBDA
- Assist UK Engineering Directorates software teams in missile programs
- Ensure high-quality weapon systems reach global partners
- Lead Project Quality Assessments
- Identify risks and critical issues
- Provide recommendations to monthly reports
Support Security
Qualifications- Experience in software development, full life cycle, and quality assurance
- Knowledge of software processes including national and international standards and assurance requirements
- Auditing experience (advantageous)
- Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues across all programmes
- Collaborative but objective approach with the ability to influence change when required
- Ability to lead Project Quality Assessments, identify risks and critical issues, and provide recommendations to monthly reports
- Clear communication skills, both orally and in writing
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and cope well with unexpected changes
- Capacity to work independently as part of a functional and integrated team
- Ideally possess an Engineering Degree or equivalent experience with an understanding of new and appropriate technologies
- Experience or knowledge of configuration management, documentation, and requirements management systems (highly beneficial)
