Join our forward thinking team as a Network Engineer, where you would play a key role in maintaining our organisation’s network infrastructure. You will be responsible for managing, maintaining and upgrading our network solutions to ensure reliability/availability and to protect against evolving threats.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll work on implementing changes securely, identifying vulnerabilities, managing network incidents and ensuring compliance with industry best practices.

  • Solid understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching, VLANS and load balancing)

  • Demonstrable expertise in configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting routers and switches e.g. Cisco

  • Strong knowledge of network protocols such as TCP, UDP, IPSec, SSL / TLS.

  • Cisco Catalyst Center (DNAC) experience is desirable.

  • Understanding of network architectures and security zones (DMZ, internal networks)

  • Proficient in monitoring technologies PRTG, Nagios

Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2 – 3 days per week on-site depending on business need (i.e. we may require more than two days onsite during some working weeks).

Security Clearance: British Citizen

This role will require DV Clearance.

Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply.

As a minimum, and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
