MBDA is seeking a skilled professional to undertake trials planning, preparation, trials conduct, and post-trials activities for flight trials. The successful candidate will work closely with the wider FC/ASW team, particularly design, manufacturing, and missile system teams, to ensure that firing trials deliver the required information to further the progressive development of Weapon System hardware and software.
Key responsibilities include:
- Generation of trials documents, including Safety documentation, Security documentation, Proving Instruction, and Trials Schedule.
- Input into the definition of required trials facilities, targets, instrumentation, and functional test requirements for firing trials.
- Undertaking and supporting trials integration and testing in conjunction with compatibility, design, manufacture, and integration teams.
- Supporting the design and manufacturing team for proving and integration activities.
- Supporting environmental clearance testing on the Seeker.
- Setting up and commissioning live build facilities for firing trials.
- Target scene set up and operation at trials sites.
- Operating and defining trials test equipment.
The ideal candidate will have experience in trials and/or system integration, with a willingness to work in potentially harsh and remote conditions. They will also have a good understanding of the company\’s ISV processes and procedures.

Benefits
- Competitive salary: £50,000-£57,000 depending on experience.
- Company bonus: up to £2,500 (based on company performance and will vary year to year).
