Overview

Join a dynamic team within the UK Support Function and support the Head of Function/Senior Management and their teams. You will undertake specific projects/responsibilities for the management team. You will need to be proactive in managing a busy workload, able to work on your own initiative on some occasions, and demonstrate resilience, strong communication, organisation skills and attention to detail.

Location and Working Arrangements

Will be based in our Stevenage office, with flexibility to travel to other sites as required. Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2-3 days per week on-site due to workload classification. Security clearance: British citizen or dual UK national with British citizenship. After offer, you may need to undergo BPSS checks.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-level administrative and business support to Senior Management and their teams
  • Create and maintain MS Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations and Word documents; assist with reports for internal and external clients
  • Provide core support to multiple managers, including complex diaries, travel arrangements and expenses
  • Organise meetings, events and training days; participate when required and manage actions
  • Maintain accountability, integrity, resilience and ability to work within a team
  • Participate in UK Support Function and personal development initiatives
  • Understand and utilise MBDA systems
  • Assist projects/functional population to optimise efficiency across the business
  • Develop to become the knowledge point of contact within the project and/or function; perform varied and ad-hoc tasks as needed

  • Experience in a similar Business/Admin Support role; experience in managing complex diaries, organising meetings, events and travel
  • Forward-thinking with a focus on improving efficiencies in working practices and processes
  • Genuine interest in MBDA and understanding of how the role impacts the company/department
  • Professional, positive attitude; able to multi-task, be proactive and work independently
  • Team player with a professional demeanour and the ability to handle confidential information
