The Mechanical Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for carrying out production, repair and modification of company products to meet defined build standards and specification requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Possess a versatile skill base and apply these skills across a range of tasks.
  • Be fully conversant with all equipment, tools and measuring instruments associated with the manufacturing cycle.
  • Ensure manufacturing build, inspection, and where relevant, inspection times are met.
  • Check and complete all required manufacturing data requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable manufacturing procedures.
  • Certify products in line with the product certification procedure and maintain certification through regular audits.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering / Manufacturing apprenticeship (Advanced Level or L3 Standard) or equivalent.
  • Level 3 academic or vocational qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering / Manufacturing (e.g., ONC, diploma, NVQ).
  • Team player with customer focus.
  • Proven planning and organisational skills.
