The Mechanical Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for carrying out production, repair and modification of company products to meet defined build standards and specification requirements.
Responsibilities
- Possess a versatile skill base and apply these skills across a range of tasks.
- Be fully conversant with all equipment, tools and measuring instruments associated with the manufacturing cycle.
- Ensure manufacturing build, inspection, and where relevant, inspection times are met.
- Check and complete all required manufacturing data requirements.
- Maintain workmanship standards and product quality at the highest level.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable manufacturing procedures.
- Certify products in line with the product certification procedure and maintain certification through regular audits.
- Maintain a safe working environment and good housekeeping policy.
- Communicate best practice to other team members.
Qualifications and Experience
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering / Manufacturing apprenticeship (Advanced Level or L3 Standard) or equivalent.
- Level 3 academic or vocational qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering / Manufacturing (e.g., ONC, diploma, NVQ).
- Team player with customer focus.
- Proven planning and organisational skills.
- Flexible and adaptable approach.
