Responsibilities:

  • Specify electrical requirements for subsystems and equipment.
  • Define interface requirements and characteristics.
  • Design power architecture, including load budget and profiles.
  • Design data communication and processing architecture.
  • Specify requirements for EMC, bonding, grounding and screening.
  • Ensure signal safety, including routing of safety‑related signals.
  • Support the electrical and electronic technical aspects of missile system architecture and topology.
  • Engage with equipment suppliers, participate in testing activities, and contribute to multiple development stages of missile projects.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in electrical, electronic engineering or a related subject.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • UK or international travel to suppliers, customers, and other MBDA sites in the UK and Europe may be required.
  • DV clearance or willingness to obtain DV clearance.
  • Must be a British citizen willing to obtain DV clearance; restrictions relating to nationality and rights to work may apply.
  • Successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS) after the offer stage.

  • Salary: Circa £35,000–£55,000 depending on experience.
  • Hybrid working: 4 days per week on‑site, remaining days flexible.
  • Company bonus up to £2,500 based on performance.
  • Pension: maximum total contribution up to 14%.
