The Operational Analysis (OA) team requires a dynamic individual to contribute to a wide range of analytical studies.
Salary: Circa £50,000 depending on experience.

Security Clearance: British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship. All successful candidates will undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS) by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to a wide variety of question sets that demand the use of qualitative and quantitative techniques.
- Apply analytical skills to understand and shape the future battlespace.
- Structure information, draw conclusions, and make recommendations.
- Identify appropriate concepts of analysis and methods within constraints of time and cost.
- Scope, manage, and lead tasks, supporting larger and complex studies.
- Interact with stakeholders including MOD analysis communities and service representatives.
Qualifications:
- Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
- Strong awareness or professional background in Operational Analysis, Operational Research, statistical analysis, or systems thinking.
- Knowledge of military operations and ability to build upon personal understanding.
- Aware of a wide range of soft and hard OA methods, and developed expertise in some.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to prepare reports and presentations.
- Flexible, adaptable, and pro-active mindset; ability to select appropriate approaches and handle changing priorities.
- Team player, willing to learn and share knowledge.
- Ability to scope, manage, and lead tasks.
