Verification and Validation (V&V) Test Engineer – Real‑Time Embedded Software
Location: UK (Hybrid, 4 days on‑site, 1 day remote).

Key Responsibilities- Extract requirements and translate them into structured test cases and procedures.
- Design, develop, and execute robust test plans on embedded software systems.
- Capture and analyse test data, and deliver actionable feedback to project teams.
- Work in a lab setting on electro‑mechanical products running embedded software.
- Apply knowledge of the complete software engineering lifecycle.
- Utilise scripting and test automation methods to improve test coverage.
- Strong experience in Verification & Validation activities in an embedded software environment.
- Embedded software development experience using Ada.
- Experience turning requirements into structured test cases.
- Knowledge of real‑time operating systems.
- Familiarity with standards such as DO‑178C, DO‑330, DefStan 00‑55.
- Experience with DOORS, EWM, Rapita Suite, Rhapsody, LDRA, or equivalent tools.
- Experience in safety‑critical or high‑integrity systems (desirable).
- Break‑point analysis and focussed code reviews experience (desirable).
- Model‑driven design experience (desirable).
- Dynamic (hybrid) working: 4 on‑site days per week.
