Overview
As MBDA grows its international exposure, this role strengthens internal controls and aligns financial operations with anti-corruption standards such as UKBA, Sapin 2 and ISO 37001. This position sits within the Group Compliance Directorate and works with Finance for financial controls and with other directorates for non-financial controls to support risk management and the prevention of fraud and corruption across the entity. The objective is to bridge finance and compliance in a complex, multinational environment, raise awareness, and foster an ethical culture across diverse teams. The Line Manager will be located in France, but there is a UK Compliance team to work with day-to-day.
What we can offer you
- Salary: Circa £46,000, depending on experience
- Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2 – 3 days per week on-site due to workload classification
- Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
- Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. After offer, all successful candidates will undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

Responsibilities and expectations
The opportunity is to strengthen internal controls and align financial operations with anti-corruption standards. The role sits within Group Compliance and collaborates with Finance and other directorates to ensure effective risk management and support the prevention of fraud and corruption across the entity.
What we are looking for from you
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit, or equivalent
- Additional certification in compliance or forensic audit (e.g., CPA, CIA, CFE, or similar) is a plus
- Proven commercial experience within financial audit, internal control, or financial controlling roles
- Previous exposure to compliance topics, particularly anti-corruption or fraud prevention, is strongly preferred
- Experience in a multinational or regulated environment is a plus
- Strong analytical and investigative mindset
- Deep understanding of financial processes and internal controls
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- High ethical standards, integrity, and discretion in handling sensitive information
