We are looking for an experienced procurement professional to manage a high profile business transformation project in the UK, working with our international colleagues, stakeholders and suppliers to deliver the programme. Salary: Circa £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience

Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2 days per week on-site in Stevenage, will consider other locations

Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity: We are looking for an experienced procurement professional to manage a high profile business transformation project in the UK, working with our international colleagues, stakeholders and suppliers to deliver the programme.

We lead all aspects of procurement across the project:

  • Strategic RFI / RFP activity to identify market players and supply partners for the main programme and support activity
  • Acting as senior procurement lead for the project, liaising with stakeholders, gathering needs, developing SOWs, managing and developing contracts
  • Develop and help to implement the SRM strategy, working without SRMS, in order to ensure deliver on time and on quality
  • Drive supplier performance, value creation and escalations of issues

What we're looking for from you: Whist this is an IT transformation project the candidate can be from any procurement background as long as you have experience in running complex and strategic projects or programmes. If you feel you have skills in any of these areas, then we would be pleased to discuss how you might best fit within the team and our transformation journey!
