This is a very hands-on role to understand technically the current Command and Control architecture, and support the continued design and development and the instantiations for future products!
Salary: Up to £65,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: typically 4 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: Sole British Citizen only. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

Resolving issues, including competing demands, sensitive situations and conflicts. This role includes involvement in all aspects of the development, integration, project management, delivery into service and service support aspects.
What we're looking for from you:
- Experience of working in C++.
- This role combines technical leadership, product ownership and team building aspects. The technical component is the largest part of the role.
- A strong background in software, its realisation and system-wide impact with strong problem-solving skills.
- You will favour a collaborative, open approach to development and have the ability to work well in a team, and maintain momentum during development. The software that you develop will be used across multiple products at several sites, so strong communication skills are essential.
Desirable, but not essential:
- Awareness and application of Software Quality standards such as DefStan 00-55, DO-178C or IEC61508 and restricted coding standards such as MISRA C++
