About Us. Let’s be honest: there are thousands of pubs in London, but there’s only one De Hems. Tucked away in the vibrant heart of Soho, we are London’s premier Dutch pub. We’ve got a rich history (we were a meeting place for the Dutch resistance in WWII!), an incredible selection of craft beers, and an atmosphere that’s always buzzing. We don't just serve pints; we serve good times. And right now, we need some awesome people to help us pour them.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Being the Face of the Pub: Greeting regulars, welcoming tourists, and making everyone feel like they’ve just walked into a cozy Amsterdam bar.
  • The Art of the Perfect Pour: Mastering the perfect two-finger head on a Dutch pilsner (yes, it’s a science, and yes, we will teach you).
  • Keeping the Energy High: Working hard during busy Soho shifts, laughing with your team, and ensuring the vibe is always immaculate.
  • Mastering the Menu: Explaining the difference between our top-tier drafts and recommending the perfect plate of bitterballen to go with them.

Who You Are:

  • A Natural People Person: You’ve got banter, a warm smile, and you genuinely enjoy chatting with people from all walks of life.
  • A Team Player: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a 'we're all in this together' attitude.
  • Reliable & Energetic: You bring great energy to every shift and aren't afraid of a busy Friday night rush.
  • Experience: It’s a bonus, but not a dealbreaker. If you have the right attitude, we can teach you the rest. (Must be 18+ to serve alcohol.)

What’s In It For You?

  • Competitive Pay + Great Tips: Because your hard work deserves to be rewarded.
  • Flexible Shifts: We offer a mix of days, nights, and weekends to fit your lifestyle.
  • Epic Staff Discounts: Major discounts on food and drinks across our network (perfect for your days off).
  • Career Growth: Want to learn the ropes of pub management? We love promoting from within.

Experience: Not required. Languages: English – Advanced. Employment: Part-time. Salary: £12.89 hourly. Benefits: tips, service charge.
