MB Professional Beauty is a B2B cosmetic contract manufacturing company with a focus on high-end skincare with our lab and production unit based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. We offer full service from design, packaging sourcing and printing to finished retail ready products and fulfillment service.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Cosmetic Chemist located in Aylesbury. The Senior Cosmetic Chemist will be responsible for:
- Formulating and developing cosmetic products including leading the formulation of NPD projects and discussing details with clients via phone-call as well as face-to-face meetings.
- Improving on some current formulations.
- Conducting stability tests and preparing samples for Challenge tests.
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Evaluating new raw materials.
- Collaborating with the Production staff to ensure smooth transition of work.
The successful candidate will be expected to stay updated with industry trends and innovations, and contribute to continuous product improvement.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years experience in formulating and developing cosmetic products in a cosmetic lab setting.
- Knowledge of stability testing and compliance with industry regulations.
- Strong research and development skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to lead and manage projects.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
- SCS Diploma in Cosmetic Science is a bonus.
