We are partnered with a large, well-established Midlands organisation seeking to appoint a commercially focused Finance Manager to join their Commercial Finance team in North Birmingham (hybrid working).
This is a highly visible business partnering role supporting senior operational leaders across a sizeable retail estate.
You'll play a key role in driving commercial performance through insightful analysis, strategic decision making and financial planning while helping shape the future direction of the business.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with senior operational stakeholders to improve trading performance, profitability and commercial decision-making.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting and reporting process across the retail division.
- Analyse store performance, identifying opportunities to improve sales, margins and operational efficiency.
- Develop business cases and financial appraisals to support capital investment and strategic initiatives.
Key requirements
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Previous experience in Commercial Finance or Finance Business Partnering.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel skills with experience interpreting and presenting financial data.
