We’re currently working with an established Coventry-based business to recruit a part-qualified Financial Accountant into their head office finance team, offering a salary of £40,000 - £45,000 alongside study support and a bonus scheme. This is a varied opportunity within a friendly and experienced team where you’ll gain exposure across management accounts, statutory reporting, group finance and commercial analysis. The role has been created to provide additional support across the function and offers excellent long-term development for someone looking to broaden their experience in industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting month-end and management accounts preparation
- Assisting with statutory accounts, VAT and tax processes
- Intercompany accounting and reconciliations
- Supporting overseas subsidiaries and group reporting activities
- Financial analysis and reporting for senior leadership teams
- Bank reconciliations and wider finance team support
- Producing detailed reporting packs and performance analysis
- Working closely with operational stakeholders
Key Requirements
- Part-qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA or studying towards qualification
- Strong Excel skills with confidence handling large volumes of data
- Experience within management accounts or financial accounting support
- Organised, adaptable and willing to get involved across the wider team
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, down-to-earth environment
