Our client seeks a Residential Property Conveyancer to independently manage a portfolio of cases and deliver exceptional client service.

Responsibilities include:

  • Handling freehold and leasehold transactions such as Sales, Purchases, Re‑mortgages, New Build, Transfers of Equity, Buy‑to‑Let, Flats, unregistered and shared ownership properties.
  • Managing a portfolio of cases from initiation to completion.
  • Establishing priorities and managing deadlines independently.
  • Providing training, supervision and coaching to junior staff.
  • Delivering an exceptional service to clients, introducers and associates.
  • Building strong relationships with clients and third parties, communicating effectively and delighting them through delivery.
  • Optimizing the client experience through exceptional client care.
  • Streamlining processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Participating in networking opportunities to strengthen business relationships and enhance the firm’s visibility.
  • Complying with all relevant legislation and regulations including client confidentiality, anti‑money laundering, Solicitors’ Regulation Authority, The Law Society rules, Solicitors’ Accounts Rules, and Data Protection Act.
  • Working as part of a team when work is requested by any other fee earner and ensuring departmental systems and firm‑wide procedures are followed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A natural self‑starter with flexibility and empathy to meet client needs.
  • Experience in residential conveyancing – CLC Level 6.
  • Supervisory experience is an advantage, not essential.
  • Ability to prioritise and adapt to meet client and business needs.
  • Self‑motivated and proactive.
  • Flexible and able to independently judge potential situations, identify and take alternative courses of action without putting the client or business at risk.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient time management.
