SALARY: Competitive Salary. For 1–5 years PQE: up to £50,000 (for 1 year) and £60,000 to £65,000 (for 2–5 years).
HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

OVERVIEW: Our client seeks an Employment Solicitor (1 to 5 years PQE). You’ll be hard‑working, outgoing, and a strong team player, ideally with experience in a city or medium‑to‑large‑sized law practice. A solid grounding in employment law is essential.
JOB DESCRIPTION: To provide effective support services to the firm. Duties will include:
- Advising on day‑to‑day HR and employment law issues
- Drafting employment contracts, policies, and staff handbooks
- Handling and advising Settlement Agreements, Redundancy Matters, and Employment Tribunal claims
- Supporting corporate transactions with employment law input (TUPE, due diligence, etc.)
- Assisting with business development, client training sessions, and marketing initiatives
- Exposure to both claimant and respondent employment work
KEY SKILLS:
- Sound legal knowledge, drafting and advisory skills
- Experience of undertaking advocacy in court/chambers/tribunal setting
- Experience of presenting to an audience
- Commercial, practical and financial awareness
- Confidence and ability to communicate at senior levels
- Excellent interpersonal and marketing skills with the ability to develop contacts for the team and the firm
