We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a well-established precision engineering business based in West Byfleet. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a high-quality manufacturing environment, ideally suited to someone with experience inspecting small, high-precision components.
The Role
As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring components meet exacting standards before progressing through production and into final delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspection of small precision components
- Use of manual inspection equipment including:
- Shadow graph
- Verniers & calipers
- Micrometers
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quality Inspector within a precision engineering environment
- Strong understanding of dimensional inspection
- Experience working with CMMs
- Confident with First Offs
- Background in CNC machining and/or aerospace manufacturing is highly desirable
- Good attention to detail and ability to work independently
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience with FAIRs
- Knowledge of PPAPs
- Aerospace quality standards experience
