Mazco Recruitment is working closely with a long-established precision engineering company in Southall to recruit an experienced CNC Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist to join a modern, well-equipped workshop producing high-precision components across multiple sectors.
The Role
You will be responsible for programming, setting and operating Fanuc-controlled Doosan twin-spindle CNC lathes, working up to 6-axis. The position requires the ability to take jobs from technical drawing through to finished, inspected components with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Program, set and operate Fanuc-controlled Doosan CNC turning centres (twin spindle, up to 6 axis)
- Manufacture precision components to tight tolerances
- Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
- Select tooling, set offsets and make necessary adjustments
- Inspect finished components using standard measuring equipment
- Work collaboratively within a skilled machining team
Desirable Experience (Not essential but a strong advantage)
- Experience using EdgeCAM
- Programming/setting/operating Mazak Integrex machines
- Exposure to Hypermill CAM software
- Background in multi-axis machining
Shift & Pay
- Day shift
- Β£20.00 β Β£25.00 per hour, depending on experience
