Mazco Recruitment is proud to be recruiting for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer on behalf of a leading precision engineering manufacturer based in Romford.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong CNC machining background who enjoys developing manufacturing processes, improving production efficiency, and supporting the introduction of new products.
You'll play a key role in delivering robust manufacturing solutions within a modern, high-precision environment.
The Role
- Develop CNC programmes, manufacturing processes and production methods to meet customer and business requirements.
- Own the configuration of all supporting process elements, including production routings, tooling, gauges, work holding and test equipment.
- Determine the most suitable materials, cutting tools and manufacturing methods to achieve product specifications.
- Ensure engineering projects are completed within budget and agreed timescales.
- Produce and maintain manufacturing documentation to improve process control and standardisation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing facility.
- Research and evaluate new manufacturing technologies and processes to support future business growth.
- Work closely with production, quality and design teams to ensure efficient manufacture of precision components.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Manufacturing Engineer within a precision engineering or CNC machining environment.
- Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, tooling and manufacturing methods.
- Experience developing CNC programmes and manufacturing routings.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments.
