Mazco Recruitment are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a highly respected precision engineering manufacturer based in West Byfleet. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a Quality Inspector / Quality Operative to support their Quality team and maintain exceptional standards across highâvalue components.
The Role
This is a handsâon quality role suited to someone with experience inspecting tightâtolerance machined parts in a regulated engineering environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Firstâoff, patrol, and final inspection
- Assisting with and completing inspection reports (AS9102 FAIRs)
- Checking quality documentation and certification
- Calibration support
- Finalâstage deburring and polishing of highâvalue components
- Supporting the Quality Manager across varied quality tasks
What Weâre Looking For:
- Previous experience in a Quality Inspector / Quality Operative role
- Confident using a range of inspection equipment, including:
- CNC CMM (Aberlink Axiom or similar)
- Vision systems and microscopes
- Surface measurement equipment
- Shadowgraph
- Digital height gauges (Trimos)
- Hand measuring instruments
Whatâs on Offer:
- Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience)
- 39âhour standard working week
- Overtime paid at 1.5x
- Choice of day shifts:
- 08:00-17:00 MonâThu / 08:00-13:00 Fri
- 07:30-16:30 MonâThu / 07:30-12:30 Fri
