About the Company

Mazco Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading CNC engineering manufacturer in Leicester who specialise in high-precision components for industries such as aerospace, automotive, and general engineering. Due to continued growth and investment, they are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily CNC machining production activities
• Coordinate workloads across turning, milling and finishing departments
• Ensure efficient planning, scheduling, and workflow
• Support and mentor CNC operators, setters, and team leaders
• Implement lean manufacturing and process improvement initiatives
• Drive quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery performance
• Work closely with engineering and CAD/CAM teams
• Maintain Health & Safety and compliance standards

Required Experience & Skills

• Proven experience in production management within precision engineering
• Strong CNC machining knowledge (turning and milling environment)
• Proficient with SOLIDWORKS and interpreting engineering drawings
• Excellent leadership, communication and planning skills
• Understanding of continuous improvement and lean principles
