Mazco Recruitment Ltd are recruiting for an experienced Manual Grinder on behalf of a well-established precision engineering company based in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with experience operating Jones & Shipman grinders, including cylindrical grinding and/or surface grinding, to join a growing and reputable manufacturer. The Role * Operating manual Jones & Shipman grinding machines * Cylindrical and surface grinding of precision components * Working to tight tolerances and engineering drawings * Inspecting finished parts to ensure quality standards are met * Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Requirements * Previous experience as a Manual Grinder * Strong background in cylindrical grinding and/or surface grinding * Experience using Jones & Shipman machinery * Ability to read engineering drawings * Good attention to detail and quality standards * Self-motivated and reliable What’s On Offer * Day shift role with excellent work-life balance * Competitive pay up to £15ph depending on experience * Permanent opportunity with overtime available * Stable and supportive working environment
