Mazco Recruitment is proud to be recruiting for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer on behalf of a leading precision engineering manufacturer based in Romford.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong CNC machining background who enjoys developing manufacturing processes, improving production efficiency, and supporting the introduction of new products.

You'll play a key role in delivering robust manufacturing solutions within a modern, high-precision environment.

The Role

  • Develop CNC programmes, manufacturing processes and production methods to meet customer and business requirements.
  • Own the configuration of all supporting process elements, including production routings, tooling, gauges, work holding and test equipment.
  • Determine the most suitable materials, cutting tools and manufacturing methods to achieve product specifications.
  • Ensure engineering projects are completed within budget and agreed timescales.
  • Produce and maintain manufacturing documentation to improve process control and standardisation.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing facility.
  • Research and evaluate new manufacturing technologies and processes to support future business growth.
  • Work closely with production, quality and design teams to ensure efficient manufacture of precision components.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Manufacturing Engineer within a precision engineering or CNC machining environment.
  • Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, tooling and manufacturing methods.
  • Experience developing CNC programmes and manufacturing routings.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments.

  • Up to £60,000 per annum depending on experience.
