The Opportunity
Mazco Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering manufacturer in Gloucester for an experienced Mazak Integrex Programmer/Operator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern machine shop producing high-quality precision components for a variety of industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating advanced Mazak machinery while ensuring components are manufactured to specification and quality standards.
Machines:
- Mazak Integrex Horizontal Lathe
- Mazak Quick Turn Nexus 250MY-2
Key Responsibilities:
- Programming, setting, and operating Mazak CNC machines
- Creating and editing programs using Mazatrol
- Producing precision components to engineering drawings and specifications
- Performing first-off inspections and in-process quality checks
- Selecting and setting tooling and workholding equipment
- Optimising cycle times and improving manufacturing processes
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience programming and operating Mazak Integrex machines
- Strong knowledge of Mazatrol programming
- Experience with Mazak Quick Turn Nexus machines advantageous
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working to tight tolerances
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
