Mazco Recruitment is currently recruiting for experienced CNC Turner Programmers on behalf of a well-established precision engineering manufacturer based in Rugby. We are looking for skilled machinists with experience programming, setting and operating CNC lathes, working on either fixed head or sliding head machines. Multiple positions are available across a range of shift patterns.

The Role

  • Programming, setting and operating CNC turning machines.
  • Producing high-precision components to engineering drawings.
  • Working with either:
    • Doosan Fixed Head CNC Lathes
    • STAR Sliding Head CNC Lathes
  • Creating and editing programs using Fanuc controls and ISO programming.
  • Conducting first-off inspections and ensuring components meet quality standards.
  • Maintaining machine performance and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a CNC Turner Programmer.
  • Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls.
  • Ability to write and edit ISO programs.
  • Experience with fixed head and/or sliding head lathes.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.
  • Good understanding of precision machining techniques and tolerances.
  • Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail.
