Mazco Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering manufacturer in Birmingham that is investing heavily in advanced machining technology and continues to secure long-term contracts across high-specification industries. We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist with strong milling experience and familiarity with Hurco, GROB, or DMG Mori machinery. Candidates with CNC Mill-Turn experience will have a significant advantage.
The Role:
- Program, Set and operate advanced CNC machining centres
- Produce high-precision components to tight tolerances
- Perform tooling changes, offsets, and machine adjustments
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Conduct in-process inspection using standard measuring equipment
- Work closely with programming and quality teams to ensure efficient production
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, CNC Miller, or CNC Setter/Operator
- Experience working with Hurco, GROB, or DMG Mori machines
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong understanding of machining principles and precision engineering
- Experience with 5-axis machining would be beneficial
- CNC Mill-Turn experience is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently and maintain high-quality standards
