The Role
- Loading and operating CNC milling machines.
- Working on DMG, YCM and Haas CNC machining centres.
- Carrying out machining operations to meet production schedules.
- Performing basic quality checks using measuring equipment.
- Ensuring parts are produced to specification and quality standards.
- Liaising with the day shift team to understand priorities and work requirements.
- Providing a smooth and effective handover between shifts.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Following company health and safety procedures at all times.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience operating CNC milling machines.
- Experience within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of DMG, YCM or Haas machines would be advantageous.
- Able to read engineering drawings.
- Competent using measuring equipment such as verniers and micrometers.
- Reliable, motivated and eager to learn.
